A preview sketch of something I’m working on for Illustration class! For the time being I refer to it as Project: Milky Way! I didn’t like the idea of posting a bland white & graphite grey sketch though so I tweaked it & pink’d it. ENJOY~
Here’s a sneak peek on my character I’m doing for Computer Illustration! I had such positive feedback on her design from my teacher IT MADE ME SO HAPPY! TwT I just need to do more concept sketches of her interacting with stuff or showing more character. I like to call her “Rowdy Ruby” for the time being!
I doodled up a Pinkie Cooper during History of Illustration class today. I definitely want to color this sometime in the future.
My first painting of the semester! Pic taken back on Tuesday (Jan 28)! I felt really sucky and rusty at first but I think the brass container kind of saved it for me, it’s really difficult making two flat still lives look interesting. At least it was a nice exercise in color mixing. It’s far from perfect but I like to think it’s nice for what it is
Felt like drawing a Baphomet who appeared to be facing some regret.
Too tired to render it any further, I haven’t had any sleep all night and it’s almost noon at the time I’m typing this I’m gonna die
Scratchboard Assignment for an Illustration Media Class, basically a free for all and we could illustrate anything we wanted. I chose to do something with a rooster, which turned into an attempt at a propaganda-esque poster. I guess this goes to all the night owls that are encouraged to have a more morning-oriented schedule?
This Illustration Assignment required us to make an advertisement for a product, without showing the product. I chose to make an advertisement on Sleeping Pills
Children’s Book Illustration Assignment, where I pick a children’s book and illustrate a scene from it. I chose to recreate a scene from one of my favorite books, “The Pinkish Purplish Bluish Egg”, by Bill Peet. This piece definitely isn’t perfect, I was hoping to revise it based on critique but I just haven’t had the time to work on it, so here it is for now!
Second Illustration Assignment for a class, this time we had to come up with an illustration based on a short story, “The Stones”.
