Momentary sketch intermission so I could paint a frog hopper after a poison dart frog, it was too much fun to resist @w@ and it’s an example for a possible future activity so it was necessary
So we’re making fairy houses and we use egg carton stuff as optional roofs. I thought I’d try cutting some of the lid to make funky roofs since it wasn’t being used :o but instead I accidentally made DIY frog hoppers @w@
So my husbandog came in the mail today
And by in the mail I mean I picked him up at the UPS store because I woke up 20 minutes too late this afternoon to sign for the darned package @’w@
Wonky selfie I did earlier today to show off my new phone cover that I’ve been meaning to try out once I got a new screen protector for my phone :> … My mom and I wound up going through hell and back before settling on an all-new tempered glass screen protector after Sprint mucked up my original dry zagg screen protector I had replaced but NO WORRIES NOW! @w@ Today was pretty much an errands day, I also got to scope out a comics shop and also got to try out a Trader Joe’s in my area for the first time!
Here’s a 4th of July Selfie, I’m off to do some volunteering, probably won’t be back till tonight ‘v’
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYONE!
Just thought I’d at least post the cute winnings of the evening! It actually felt like we had to take a turn for some unpleasant games and prizes before actually coming across these two, which I considered to be maybe the best large and small prizes of the carnival, considering my taste? They also had precious moments cats/tabby cats/lions and mini realistic WHITE tigers too
Right at the beginning of our carnival experience I got a bit put on the spot in trying one of those balloon dart games and wound up leaving with a literal duck dynasty plush (it was either that or a yellow ladybug), and then around the end Rick tried to see if he could give it a go to win the dog plush, but in the end we only got a medium sized leopard plush that, albeit cute still looked a bit wonky. We went to the Racing game next door (the booth who originally had the dog plush of interest, and also had the orange mini tiger plushies) and asked if we could trade. She said we could, but we had to race for it first, and thankfully it was only Rick and Me racing, so there wasn’t much competition ‘u’ She was also really SUPER NICE and threw in a realistic tiger plush along, for my sister! (Before racing I wanted to take a quick pic of her lil tiger plush pile, mentioning my sister woulda liked them)
Cel’s California Trip 2014 - Day Seven: Baby’s First Slots
Went to the Casino to have dinner at their buffet (loved their Teriyaki Meatballs like YUM), and afterwards Rick made me try a Slots Machine for the first time! ‘o’ GUESS WHO’S GONNA BUY TOMODACHI LIFE NOW?! *W*
Cel’s California Trip 2014 - Day Four: Arcadin’ at Scandia
After some bird feeding Rick surprised me to Scandia! ‘v’ It was nice to see some nostalgic games, as well as some new ones I’ve never seen before! Also got to play against Rick in Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo as Felicia! :> And with the help of Rick’s unused tickets (and playing skee ball nonstop) I managed to win three different inflatable ponies! They also had a purple one but I liked these three more. They’re probably my most favorite prizes I’ve won at an arcade yet! *v*
Cel’s California Trip 2014 - Day Four: Duck Feeding
It was so overwhelming with just how many ducks & geese came by when we had bread to go around @<@ I was almost afraid they were going to peck my knees to get a crumb! I’m sure Rick recorded me freaking out on the picnic table.
