Okay uh lemme think…
Alright; Olive the Owl is one of the smaller animatronics (a bit like the bird in the barrel in that Rock and Roll Pizza Review show with the bear) and ‘deals’ with the younger children that might get a little tired or queezy or have tantrums during their time at Freddy’s. Her job is to calm them down in her little part of the pizzeria known as ‘Hush-a-Bye Corner’.
She sings lullabies, tells little stories all that sort of stuff to occupy your child so you didn’t have to and could instead talk with other parents about how much you disliked being here.
Her job was basically to get the smaller kids to sleep or to calm them down and being a smaller animatronic to seem less threatening she got very beaten up, knocked over and all that. So she’s a little roughed up and such, infact one of her eyes can’t open fully anymore.
The little wheel under her tail is to balance out her weight and help her move about so she isn’t dragging herself everywhere.
At night she kind of wanders singing and humming to herself, seeing as her job is to make sure kids sleep she’ll often utter disturbing phrases and stare at the camera for lengthy amounts of times before appearing in a completely different room. She’s a shockingly fast little animatronic.
And yes, she can turn her head a full 180 degrees….and sometimes spins it.
But yeah there we go!

This is something for a project I worked on based on a poem by Carol Ann Duffy named “Little Red-Cap.” It was a lot of fun to draw and it was interesting to see peoples reactions to it.
